What is this?!

Summer after freshmen year all over again?  Where I’d pour my heart out onto tumblr because it comforted me that my frustrations were concretely jotted down somewhere.

Your life.. it’s like a beach.  And every person that comes through your life walks on it.  Sometimes the people walk close enough to the waters edge that their impact on you.. their footprints.. they seem to wash away so easily into the ocean that is all of your memorable and not so memorable experiences.

Every so often you meet people that play on your beach.  That set up lawn chairs on your beach, pop open a beer and slo- tan on your beach.. hell.. GRAFFITI the back wall and pier of your mother fucking beach.  Sometimes the people even draw hearts in the sand on your beach and build sand castles.. far enough away from the waters edge that they don’t really ever get washed or swept away (forbidding a Tsunami from cascading you into amnesia)..

And my beach right now?  It’s pretty clean.  It’s filled with hearts and sand castles that Chi Delts has permanently placed there.. back wall graffiti murals of family portrait after family portrait.  It’s got a little dirt on it though, sea weed that used to be alive and basking under the beach’s sun.. floating around carefree and providing life to the ocean’s critters.. now washed up.. dry.. dark brown.  And for some reason that sea weed is really.  really. bothering me.  It’s getting in my eyes and the their salt content makes them want to water.

And it’s unfortunate.  Because a hottie young surfer just floated onto my beach and for a split second the seaweed didn’t bother me.  I think he ran past me a little too fast because I got sand in my eye and the burning sensation from the sand reminds me of the salty sea weed.

Solution?  Somebody make some sushi on my beach so my eyes turn out just fine.
